Crime Statistics

The Central Statistics Office Ireland (CSO) publishes crime and justice statistics for prostitution and human trafficking offences in the Republic of Ireland. These statistics are based on data recorded by the Gardaí (police) and only reflect crimes that became known to the Gardaí. Changes in Garda priorities and activities will also have an influence on the number of crimes recorded.
