Politicians

In the run up to the General Election 2011 Turn Off the Red Light claimed a number of politicians supported their campaign. These politicians would like to see the introduction of ‘bedroom police’ to Ireland, with Garda resources being directed at adults who privately pay other consenting adults for sex. The proposed legal changes they support would mean a person could end up arrested, in court, with a criminal record, or possibly even in prison, for the new ‘crime’ of privately paying another consenting adult for sex.
